I had five blissful massages while in Thailand. Five! (they only cost $10-15 each for one hour) The best two took place here:
With the sound of the ocean in the background, the smell of toasted coconut oil, and the magic movement of the masseuse's fingers, I spent several hours here in a state of complete relaxation. And then I had several tough days of this:
Long Beach on Phi Phi Don Island with a view of Phi Phi Ley
Felix enjoying a sunset
We also treated ourselves to a fishy spa treatment in Ao Nang which was not nearly as Zen. Hundreds of these little guys nibble on your tootsies for 15 minutes, removing dead skin, and promoting circulation. Oh, and tickling you until you almost pee your pants.
Let me tell you, I could really do with a massage now as I sit in the library. I'd even prefer the tickle torture to essay writing. Are you feeling sorry for me yet???
Looks like Mr. Chill was not only appreciating the sunset, but also conveniently directed towards more feminine beauty ;)
ReplyDeleteI love those fish! They have them here in Semuc Champey Waterfalls. Looks like a lovely trip. xo
