Second Chances

This will be my second attempt at blogging. My first was in August 2006 upon moving to Kenya. My failure to update that blog can be traced to the inconvenience of a long and often smelly matatu trip to Kisumu where I sat in hot and often smelly internet cafes using unreliable, snail-speed internet paired with the lack of any uplifting or encouraging material to write about. Now I live my days in sunny Kampala with my very own, at home, snail-speed internet connection so I have decided to give this blogging thing another whirl.

My old blog
